Jay’s Cafe offers specialized catering designed just for you.  Our catering program is designed to give you fresh, seasonal options using the same quality and care we use everyday in our restaurant. Our goal is to create seasonal options using as many locally sourced items as possible, many organic. We use some of the finest local producers and farmers (see our friends) to deliver the highest quality experience. We are constantly updating these menus to reflect the seasons and availability.
Our forte is creating custom designed menus and choices that "cater" to your group and event. We take every opportunity to listen to your ideas and incorporate them into the overall package.
Choose items off of our regular menu or let us create a menu custom designed for your event.   Whether it's a groom’s dinner, bridal shower, small gathering or your company picnic, we can do it all.  Our space is available for groups up to 40 people for the a one-of-a-kind intimate dining experience. We have the capability to execute a wide range of events from small, intimate groom's dinners or birthday parties in our restaurant to full service sit-down wedding events. With over 25+ years in the restaurant and catering business we pride ourselves on having a tremendous amount of know-how. We can offer the kind of service and detail you’d pay thousands more from some of the other “big” catering outfits.

Catering Services and General Policies
Guarantee:  This is the number of guests attending your event and must be confirmed 72 hours prior to the event. For all events a guarantee represents the minimum number of guests attending.
 
Gratuity: There is a 20% gratuity based on total food and beverage sales.
 
Delivery/Charge:  Delivery is available for your event.  Delivery charges will vary with time and distance.

Service Staff/Chefs:  Service staff are available at $20.00 per hour, Bartenders are $25.00 per hours and Chef services at $40.00 per hour. Our servers insure delivery, complete set-up, service of event, breakdown and clean up.  There is a four hour minimum per server for every event. 
 
Service Charge:  There is a 17% service charge added to off-premise events.  This charge is used to offset rentals, breakage and wear costs.
 
Deposits & Payment:  For off-premise events half of the total due is required 7 days in advance of the event.  The balance is due upon delivery.  On-premise events require payment upon completion of the event.
In some circumstances a final invoice will be sent in the event pre-arranged agreement or some of the following circumstances: extended labor hours, additional food or beverages or rental items needed. 
 
Service Staffing Guidelines:  Buffet Service requires 1 server per 40 guests and 2 servers if beverage service is required.  1 Chef and 1 Chef assistant per 100 guests.

All prices are subject to change. 
Final charges are based on actual attendance. 
Prices do not include sales tax or gratuities.
